| As a melody starts, it's slow, sad. It has a feeling of loneliness to it; of darkness. As it progresses, you feel awakened. The vibe changes, the piano becomes not so much harsh but...wild and free. The tune is faster and stronger. Tragic? Happy? Beautiful? The beauty of classical music is such that each melody is so precise, so in tune and beautiful. The music speaks a certain way so that each person hears a certain melody that no one else can hear. I think there's a meaning behind Ulquiorra suffering. You notice how he is so distant, so strong and conducts himself in such a cold manner? He's trying to hide how bad he's hurting inside. It just goes to show that no matter how much you put into an emotional barrier, it's still possible to show compassion and kindness to others. When Emora thought that Grimmjow was a better match for her, he drew in his emotions even more, trying to protect himself from the pain he felt from her leaving him for one of his enemies. She see's her mistake, but his emotional barriers are so hardened that even she can't break them down. As Ulquiorra's dieing, he relizes his mistake and cries out to Emora, in front of Gin, in front of Aizen, Ichigo, Byakuya...that he admits his mistake and wants to correct it, crying his eyes out all the while. Emora comes just in time to hear his last 'I'm...so sorry' before he dies in her arms. Until he comes back as a Soul Reaper, that is  |
